The story behind our hand painted scarves:
These gorgeous 100% natural silk scarves (16 3/4"" wide x 65"" long) are manufactured in two steps.
First, the silk is machine woven in China, after which the material is imported to Thailand where the brightly colored designs are painted on by Thai Artisans.
Don't let the ""hand painted"" moniker throw you, the painted designs are as durable as they are beautiful

Recommended care:
As with all of our fine silk products, we recommend hand washing with a mild detergent (using no bleach or bleaching agent), press to release excess water and then hang to dry. An iron set to the high end of the silk range, with medium steam (painted side down) is recommended.
